PUBLICATIONS
The Foundation Galileo Galilei aim is to disseminate and to promote scientific culture and in particular is to enhance historical-scientific patrimony of the Museum of Computing Instruments of the University of Pisa. According to this purpose, the Board of Directors of the Foundation, on the proposal of the Scientific Committee, decided to publish a series of books titled “Foundation Galileo Galilei’s Notebooks”. Through collaboration with universities and other Italian and foreign institutions, the intent is to stimulate the development of educational methods for effective teaching of science and history of science with particular attention to the use of new technologies. The series of books will publish original works according to the system of peer-review. The “Foundation Galileo Galilei’s Notebooks” have a Director, a Scientific Committee and an Editorial Board. The Notebooks are published by Pisa University Press.
